Here are the key components & how they benefit you as users.
Materials & Finishing
At Marano, we are committed to safety and sustainability, which is why we use environmentally friendly materials from sustainable sources in our furniture production.
Natural Marble
Our natural marble is non-man-made and each has its own unique patterns, veins and grains, and other visual variations. This is also what makes the natural marble of prestige and timeless elegance. There are no two pieces of natural marble that will look exactly the same as every natural marble is a signature piece of art by nature – each piece is unique to itself and will come in a variety of hues and translucence.Â
These natural semi-precious stones are beautiful individual pieces which may contain inclusions, pits or fissures. These are not flaws. In fact, they signify the authenticity of the product, adding a touch of individuality and characteristics to the final quality product fabricated. Our hand-picked natural marble is further enhanced with the final application of eco-friendly matt or high-gloss surface finish treatment to provide protection, hardening and a glass-like finish for better wear-and-scratch resistance that will last.Â
The thorough process begins with the selection of the finest pure natural marble slab to the use of CNC waterjet precision cutting, delicate smoothing and final coating of protection film to harden and brighten the surface of the marble.
- Maintain a high gloss shine
- presenting the true natural beauty and colour of the marble surface
- Better wear-resistance and scratch-resistance
- Easy maintenance
Eco-friendly matt or high-gloss surface finish treatment
To help maintain and prolong your marble table tops, daily cleaning is encouraged. Clean up any spills of acidic liquid such as red wine, juice, coffee, tea, cola and other high alkaline liquids that can corrode the stone surface immediately with water. To remove dirt and spills, blot or wipe down the surface immediately using a fine micro-fibre cloth and a PH-neutral mild soap (like dish detergent) and water. When cleaning, make sure you don’t use vinegar or bleach — these acidic substances will eat into the surface. It’s also important to not use abrasive cleaners or pads since they can scratch the surface of the marble. Always use trivets, coasters, or placemats to keep the surface safe from high heat, stains, and etching.
Corrugated Glass
Corrugated glass may offer improved strength and durability compared to regular flat glass due to its textured surface. The corrugated texture can create intriguing visual effects, casting shadows and adding depth to a space. It features a wavy, textured surface, reminiscent of corrugated metal. This distinctive design is achieved by rolling molten glass between two patterned rollers, creating a continuous wave-like pattern. The resulting glass panels have both aesthetic appeal and practical applications.
Pay special attention to the glass edges and avoid using sharp or hard objects on it to prevent breakage. Avoid prolonged pressure and refrain from placing heavy items to prevent damage. Keep glass away from acidic and alkaline substances. Maintain a balanced temperature to avoid thermal stress and avoid exposure to direct sunlight and rain.
Eco-Friendly Natural Veneer
This is a form of technological wood that is produced from sustainable fast-growing and high-yielding plantations. The material goes through high-tech processing where they are restructured to become Superior Performance Veneers.Â
- Highly filled
- High wear-resistant
- High colour stability
- Healthiest & safest interior plywood;Â
- Zero harmful pollution in the interior environment and protect human health.
Our sustainability effort ensures that all wood used is responsibly harvested from sustainable sources. Above all, Silver Pearwood Hardwood Veneer is E0 Grade – Formaldehyde emission certified at less than 0.1mg/m3. Forestry Product Testing Certification FPT 2020R222.
Minimising exposure to sunlight, heat, and excessive moisture will keep your wood veneers looking new. UV light from the direct sun can fade the wood veneer’s natural colour, while direct heat can melt the glue bonding the veneer to the core material.

E0 Grade Plywood
E0 Grade Plywood is ideal for making premium furniture and home decoration. Plywood is unique from the other types of engineered wood due to its distinct cross-grain make. It is made using thinly sliced layers of wood veneer called plies, which are pressed and sandwiched together to form a single plank of plywood.
Known for its durability and resilience, it is said to be the strongest among engineered woods. Apart from being used in kitchen and living spaces such as cabinets, tabletops, flooring, etc
- Healthiest & safest interior plywood
- Zero harmful pollution in the interior environment and protect human health.

The Eco-friendly foam is made of recycled wood fibres, vegetarian fibres or biodegradable polymer foaming. Passed SGS-CSTC Standards CAN22 -012996, and CAN22-017375 for various tests in compliance with environmental standards.
Regularly clean the upholstery to remove dust and dirt, preventing these small particles from seeping through to the foam, which can cause abrasion and wear over time.
Regularly fluff the cushions to help them retain their shape and resilience. Avoid standing or jumping on furniture as this can cause the foam to compress unevenly and lose its shape permanently.
Nappa Leather
All leather sourced and used in our furniture is genuine and natural materials. Before a product is made, each hide is inspected with stringent regulations. We aim to provide the best-looking piece of leather to create your furniture while reducing the amount of waste.
Full-grain and Top-grain Nappa leather is a natural product which can have colour and textural differences when used over time. These are, in fact, quality features that denote good, genuine leather and ensure exclusivity. The leather is sourced exclusively and is tanned in accordance with the applicable regulations and high-precision leather-making equipment. Treated to retain its natural characteristics, it boasts a delicate yet supple feel and is beautiful, comfortable and durable.
It is recommended to avoid exposure to direct sunlight and acidic compound. Keep the surface dry and away from sharp objects. Under normal use, our leather furniture does not require any special care. To clean lightly soiled surface stains, it is best to clean with a fine micro-fibre cloth which has been soaked in a mild soap solution and gently dab away the stains. Then remove the rest of the detergent with a cloth slightly dampened in lukewarm water and finally wipe dry.
However, to keep your leather furniture in good condition that lasts longer, we do recommend periodical cleaning using special leather care products which gently treat the leather, keeping it supple, preventing cracking and mould formation, and refreshing the colours. You should also avoid sitting on the leather sofa with keys or other sharp objects in your pockets as these can damage and cause rips, cracks, or tears.
